1998–2004: Consultant to the British Philatelic Trust. This Charitable Trust was set up by the British Post Office with capital endowments in 1983 and 1990, funded from surplus moneys from the sale of souvenir philatelic materials produced for the 1980 and 1990 London international philatelic exhibitions. Its primary objectives are the study, promotion of stamps and postal history.
