A Methodist Minister brought this sterling silver pocket watch from Ireland to the United Province of Canada in the mid-nineteenth century. The watch was made in England.
This eighteenth-century English clock, probably a family heirloom, was brought to Canada in 1910 by Henry Lewis. It has a square brass dial and only one hand. The space between the hours is divided into quarters, allowing the single hand to place the time within a few minutes.
