Man's panama hat, 1915-1930 Gotham Hat Company, Montreal Panama hats were marketed in Panama, but never made there. They were, and still are, made in Ecuador, and parts of Colombia and Peru. The panama was an elegant, but informal, hat. CMC 993.44.1 |
