Private Rooms, Toronto General Hospital
Private patient rooms in the newly built Pavilion at the Toronto General Hospital were luxuriously equipped. Poorly timed, the Pavilion opened as the Depression deepened, and a lack of paying patients led to the hospital’s financial loss.
