Georgina Fane Pope: Medals and Military Objects
Pope served as Matron during the two expeditions of Canadian
nurses to South Africa during the South African War (1899-1902)
(Boer War) and was the first Matron-in-Chief of the permanent
force Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps (1908-1914).
