Stephen Alsford is Web site manager for the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation. He has Masters degrees in history and in information science. In 1982 he joined the Task Force set up to design the new museum, and since then has carried out a variety of projects relating to the creation of the museum. He has had published several articles and booklets on museological subjects, and is the co-author (with George MacDonald) of the book A Museum for the Global Village.
