German Wing Tip Insignia
This German iron cross insignia was cut from a Gotha bomber shot down near Warneton, Belgium on 12 December 1917 by Captain W.W. Rogers of No. 1 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps. It was brought back to Canada as a war trophy and came to the Canadian War Museum in 2006.
