The Last Soldier Killed in the War
The resting place of Private George Price, 28th Canadian Infantry Battalion. Killed by a German sniper northeast of Mons just two minutes before the Armistice on 11 November 1918, he was the last Canadian to be killed in battle during the war. His grave marker has the wrong first initial: 'J' instead of 'G.'
