ARTCIRQ

ARTCIRQ

Artcirq delights and thrills audiences with mesmerizing performances that blend circus traditions and Inuit culture.

Artcirq, a remarkable northern success story, has delighted and thrilled audiences across the globe, most notably at the Vancouver Olympics and at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in the U.K. Guillaume Saladin, who trained at the famous National Circus School in Montréal and toured with Cirque Éloize, founded Artcirq in 1998 to engage young people in the remote Arctic community of Igloolik. What began as a way to provide youth with a cathartic artistic outlet has become a sought-after artistic phenomenon. This energetic troupe blends circus with Inuit culture in original performances that win the hearts of critics and audiences alike. Bilingual.
