Daphne Odjig: Four Decades of Prints
2008: Special Exhibitions Gallery A
This exhibition of 95 prints by Daphne Odjig is a major retrospective of one of Canada's most influential artists since the 1960s. Daphne Odjig: Four Decades of Prints reflects the evolution of Odjig's art from its dynamic, politically-charged roots to its softer, more lyrical forms. Odjig's large, vibrant prints are spectacular - much like her monumental mural, The Indian in Transition, displayed at the Museum of Civilization.
Daphne Odjig: Four Decades of Prints is organized and circulated by the Kamloops Art Gallery, with the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Department of Canadian Heritage's Museums Assistance Program.
