Winterlude—Coeur de pirate—Blonde
Blonde features a more mature, yet still sensitive Coeur de pirate. The singer’s musical evolution is clear from the album’s first cut. Evoking Nancy Sinatra and Françoise Hardy, Coeur de pirate blends the retro-chic of songs from the 1960s with the music of today. Leaving the piano behind, she showcases a sound that has developed and deepened over the past three years—becoming tighter and richer without losing her signature pop flavour.
