Winterlude—Inuit Doll-Making

Winterlude—Inuit Doll-Making

You will marvel at the dexterity of our Inuit guests as they guide you in the creation of a small doll and parka, made with felt and fur. By participating in this sewing circle, you are helping to revive an Inuit tradition that encourages young girls to make similar dolls, as a way of introducing them to various sewing techniques.

In partnership with the Inuit Sewing Group.
