I hike and/or camp in wilderness areas at least one per week and more often when I can. It is as close as I get to something called spirituality and the activity from which I draw the most sustenance
purification with sage/sweetgrass when I feel sad. These plants changes the mood. Positive thinking, friends and a cup of tea help as well.
I attend to rituals that promote a happy existence. Poker with my friends, camping with the family, skiing in the winter, oil changes for the car, and the occasional health check-up with my GP.
My rituals lie in the daily routines of my life. I may release or summon intentions in the moon cycles
I try to regularly look at the world around me and see it’s beauty, doing that for me is prayer.
