I think that if there is a Heaven, that after we die there’s some sort of challenge, not exactly a competition but something that you earn to get there that we can’t receive while we’re alive.

I’m not entirely sure. I’d like to believe that people are rewarded and/or punished for what they do in life. I’d also like to believe that we learn the absolute truth about everything after we die. But I’m not sure. Maybe when we die, we are simply dead.

I have been told that our existence on earth is one of many in an endless journey. Our purpose here is to learn the laws of what we call mamawi-nohtawinan (Creator). I believe that once our time is done here we move on to another existence, in another form of being.

If I am my consciousness, I will simply and utterly cease. If I am my physical body, I will decay and be reintegrated into other life. If I am the broad-scope influence I have on the universe, I will ripple onwards and outwards in waves that diminish as they widen, but do not disappear until the universe’s end.

My consciousness will cease to exist, my body will decay, “I” will no longer be.
