Drents Museum, Assen, Netherlands
September 6, 2004 to January 3, 2005
The Drents Museum is one of the most popular museums in the northern Netherlands, attracting 70,000 visitors annually. Its mission is simple: to please the public. This seems quite obvious, but it is rather surprising for a museum with such a long history. Although famous as an archaeological museum, founded in 1854, the Drents Museum now has very diverse collections.
