Archaeology through Stamps

Archaeology through Stamps

Gatineau, Quebec, September 26, 2006 – In conjunction with the PETRA exhibition, you are invited to the Canadian Museum of Civilization on October 5, 2006 to learn about archaeology through stamps. Join philatelic expert Normand Caron in the Canadian Postal Museum and “visit” archaeological sites in the Middle East. Get a different perspective on Petra through postage stamps related to this World Heritage Site.

Communications consultant, author and philatelic lecturer Norman Caron has been a philatelist for more than 40 years. He has been a member of several Canadian and European philately societies, and continues to work with the Union des philatélistes de Montréal, a club founded in Montreal in 1933.
