Canadian Museum of Civilization among nominees for CBC’s Seven Wonders of Canada contest
According to some, the Canadian Museum of Civilization may be one of Canada’s Seven Wonders ( http://www.cbc.ca/sevenwonders/wonder_museum_of_civilization.html. ). The Museum is one of 52 Canadian human creations and physical sites short-listed to become one of the Seven Wonders of Canada, in a contest organized by the CBC. The Canadian Museum of Civilization is honoured to be included among the nominees, the only museum to make the short-list.Voters are asked to select sites based on several criteria, including essential ‘Canadian-ness’, originality and uniqueness, spectacular site or human creation, and the ability to inspire.
