Quebec Scene presents Les Batinses at the Canadian Museum of Civilization

Gatineau, Quebec, April 19, 2007 — On April 29, 2007, join us at the Canadian Museum of Civilization for a performance by the popular group Les Batinses. This multi-instrumental group update familiar folk tunes and lyrics from their native Quebec with Latin, Bulgarian and Breton influences and echoes of funk and rock. Les Batinses playfully mix past and present, traditional lyrics and modern arrangements. This performance is presented in association with the National Arts Centre’s Quebec Scene ( http://www.quebecscene.ca. ).
