The Poetry of Robert W. Service

The Poetry of Robert W. Service

Gatineau, Québec, January 18, 2007 – Join us at the Wildcat Cafe in Canada Hall on January 27 and 28 to hear three members of the Ottawa Storytellers interpret the poetry of Robert W. Service. You’ll hear such familiar classics as The Shooting of Dan McGrew and The Cremation of Sam McGee. There will also be a brief presentation about the author. The French versions were translated and adapted by Jean-Baptiste Pariseau, author of several documents on Canadian military history, including some for the Canadian War Museum.
