Barbara Ann Scott Doll

Barbara Ann Scott’s extraordinary career reached its peak in 1948 when, within a five-week period, the “Queen of the Blades” won the European, World, and Olympic figure-skating championships. This doll was made by the Reliable Toy Company, Toronto (ca. 1950). It has costume of lace fabric with synthetic lining and marabou trim. The skates have plastic boot and cast-metal blade.
