IS ALL THIS EFFORT MADE TO ECLIPSE THE ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY’S WISH FOR AN ARCHIVES LIBRARY TO TELL THEIR STORY TO THE WORLD? YOU MAY WELL PERCEIVE A LACK OF TRUST ON MY PART!
If I understand the meaning of “your comment will be moderated” it means that any form of criticism will not be posted right? To the question: What are some ways that the Museum could come to you? I answer don’t bother pretending wanting to reach out when all you want is to promote your own military agenda. PS To the person who’s job it is to read these comments and decide what is getting posted: I understand you need to pay the rent and i feel sorry for you. No post since oct 27?Is it that bad?
I notice that there are no consultation session in northern Canada, Yukon, NWT or Nunavut. Please consider including a stop up north. I am worried that northern history will continue to be grossly underrepresented at CMC.
All of the options for outreach and communication are fine and should be included. What is missing is what I would regard as the most essential (and long-lasting) of all, and that is through publication of research based upon museum programs, exhibits and research. Omission of this is very very troubling.
It would be great if the Museum sponsored a lecture series at universities, or collaborated with university galleries across the country. There’s so much that could be learned if the collection were to be made available to students through some sort of partnership.

I feel extremly uncomfortable with the idea that this wonderfull museum will be turned into a tool for Prime Minister’ Harper propaganda

Podcasts! I’d love to hear secrets from the museum’s collection!

A type of “Antiques Roadshow” to showcase and have Canadians showcase and talk about their artifacts.
The Museum-mobile, like the old bookmobiles … a real travelling museum!
