Terence Clark

Dr. Clark joined the Canadian Museum of Civilization in 2011. He has extensive archaeological field experience across the Northwest Coast, Plateau and Western Subarctic culture areas. His current research projects focus on the rise of intensive shellfishing, the development of social complexity, contact period archaeology and statistical methods. His recent fieldwork has taken him to Sechelt and Quadra Island, British Columbia.

Dr. Clark received his doctoral degree from the University of Toronto in 2010. He has also worked as a postdoctoral research associate under the direction of Professor Stephen Shennan at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. He has ongoing research collaborations with Simon Fraser University and at the University of Toronto, where he is status-only faculty.
