Did you see Terry run?
WE’RE LOOKING FOR THE PHOTOS YOU TOOK OF THE MARATHON OF HOPE!
Did you or a member of your family take photos of Terry Fox during the Marathon of Hope in 1980? Would you —or they— be willing to have those photos displayed in a Terry Fox exhibition?
We’re looking for photographs of Terry Fox, taken by you or a relative, back in 1980 during the Marathon of Hope. The photos might show Terry running, greeting people, speaking at a rally, relaxing at a reception, or posing with you, family, friends, and supporters.
We will feature these photos in an exhibition being developed at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in partnership with the Terry Fox Centre celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Marathon of Hope. The exhibition’s dates are April 2015 to January 2016. Your photos will help show how Canadians took Terry Fox into their hearts and made him a national hero. Your images will also be preserved as part of the Museum’s National Collection and at the Terry Fox Centre for future generations to see.
