Live Interpretation: Image- and Word-Association Activities
Through our Volunteer Interpreter Program, visitors are invited to participate in two thought-provoking activities. Both activities explore the religious characteristics of Vodou practices.

Guided Tour of the Vodou exhibition with Canadian vodouist Monique Dauphin
Vodou priestess Monique Dauphin will give a tour of the Vodou exhibition, allowing visitors to discover why and how vodouists honour their lwa (Vodou spirits). She will be accompanied by a Vodou drummer and singer.
Following the tour, the vodouists will welcome visitors in the Cascades Salon, where they will discuss Vodou practice in Canada.

VODOU—Lecture by Gérald Alexis, specialist in Haitian art
Fascinated by the art of the Caribbean? Come and listen to Gérald Alexis, art historian and exhibition curator. He will explain how Vodou spirituality can influence the visual arts of Haitian artists. This lecture will be followed by a visit to the Vodou exhibition.
Lecture in English. Guided tour in French and English.
